Develop skills that can lead to completing high school credentials. Individualized instruction focuses on Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. Build foundational math skills to find success in the workplace, refresh skills after a long time away from school, and get started earning high school graduation credentials.
Review of basic math skills and an introduction to more advanced concepts needed for algebra.
Find success with basic Algebraic concepts, solving equations, polynomials, and rational expressions typically offered in a high school Algebra I course.
Explore two- and three-dimensional shapes and their properties, properties of lengths, areas, volumes, and rules of quadrilaterals, circles, triangles, prisms, cones, pyramids, and regular polygons.

College Transitions Math Class

Maine College Transitions (MCT) is a comprehensive program of study leading to enrollment and success in college. MCT provides high-quality accessible pathways to college success. Adults who are studying to earn high school degrees receive help in transitioning to college, and adults who have high school degrees receive preparatory support for college.
The College Transitions Math course covers the standard topics of basic algebra: real numbers and algebraic expressions, using formulas, solving linear equations and inequalities, Cartesian coordinates, graphs of linear equations, direct and inverse variation, operations with polynomials, factoring of polynomials, solving quadratic equations, and simplifying rational and radical expressions.
A practical work training program, endorsed by local Maine businesses and employers, WorkReady is designed to provide the specific skills and requirements that employers look for in current and future employees.
